jamesnichols89
Does NAM taint Cape Cod? I looked at its 10m wind and temp map and it produced snow throughout in my opinion.
MarkO
I'd add 14-20 inches onto NAM lol!
N. OF PIKE
I think the deform is sealed for Dendrite to the Berks, shocking.......but hopefully we can get it to slow its evolution a bit ....not blow the load so far south looks like Mid Level low tracks supports that , esp including W CT But I also would be surprised to see this tuck and sit tight next to the artist formerly known as earthlight I think there is support for this coming up Just SW of MVY and doing the loop. Ginx snewx
sounds like that crazy nam run right before 2/8/13 that gave parts of new england 45" with sref members following suit with 60.I have that, oddly the qpf max in CCt almost verified with 40 spots in Hamden
MarkO
We knew the NAM would come around with an insane solution. But I think the 18 hr is going to be the one that has you spitting coffee all over your laptop. Noticed I'm in a blizzard watch here in Lowell. Anyone remember (Ray?) if we were under one for Nemo? I thought it was only as far west as eastern Middlesex?

jamesnichols89
NAM does not taint Cape Cod, MA with its track similar to the GFS.
Stash
Here just west of the Berkshire/Greens is real fringe city. Over a foot on the Euro and almost nothing on the NAM! Well, I was referring to down here, WE missed the deformation band, Verbatim on the Nam

Zeus
It's probably time to determine whether the flake size will be to my liking or not. You know I'm not fond of dust.
dan11295
Need so see how far west the 12z GFS comes with the low, it was a bit farther west at 0z.
dendrite
NAM does not taint Cape Cod, MA with its track similar to the GFS. Looks like a lot of windswept paste for you before the low tucks in and you start mixing/changing to rain. I'm not up to snuff with the climo down there out near the elbow on these systems though. Clinch Leatherwood
NAM does not taint Cape Cod, MA with its track similar to the GFS. Cape and coastal areas will taint, no doubt about that. Almost always due in storms this large.
CoastalWx
Well, I was referring to down here, WE missed the deformation band, Verbatim on the Nam It went right passed you. Further north and it's even more north.
SouthCoastMA
Cape and coastal areas will taint, no doubt about that. Almost always due in storms this large. The NAM is probably the best solution if you want to limit the taint down here..although.
Chrisrotary12
I would take my chances with the NAM's storm evolution. The storm is so wound up that the dryslot actually moves into the Merrimack Valley from the northeast.

dendrite
Too much worrying about details right now. Jack fetishes...screwjob worries. Gah. I'm not sure why everything has to be competitive. 1-2ft is a lot of snow.
Clinch Leatherwood
Too much worrying about details right now. Many won't remember a similar monster last winter because it was primarily indicated to clobber cape cod. Inside of 42 hours it gradually ticked ENE 10-20 miles every run until it ended up stalling ENE of Ptown. I just can't see getting worked up right now, this is still 2-3 runs away from being close to a lock and minor details will have tangible changes in outcome for many. powderfreak
Jack fetishes...screwjob worries. Gah. I'm not sure why everything has to be competitive. 1-2ft is a lot of snow. It happens every major storm. I'm looking for 4". If I can get 4" out of this or more, it'll be a big win, IMO. We had our 12-24" paste bomb earlier this season in December. Time for you guys to get a good one.
Bostonseminole
I still like my odds of 20-25".. I might be east enough to get into the heavier stuff, we will see but I'm not going to worry about it, one of the best parts is the fun leading up to the storm. Clinch Leatherwood
12z RGEM looks like a decent hit It is but it's a very sizeable jump ENE from the same positions at 0z when you look at 40-54 hours. I think we're now going to see that throughout the suite potentially. Like I said this seems to happen often.
