sauss06
So how about the RAP/HRRR/RPM showing a York/Cumberland County bullseye this evening? Some places 4" - 6" in what 6 hours? I can't believe that...maybe an inch or two. somebody is just toying with our emotions, i call bullchit

Santa Clause
17.9 SN- all day, radar is so frustrating lol, looks like good stuff coming then moves NW...done tracking this one..onto the next.
canderson
The anti-precip dome sitting immediately over of Harrisburg, pushing any moisture to jump west then north to avoid the immediate region, is downright impressive.
paweather
Disappointing but last night pretty much expected this would be a flop for the area even as ABC27 was still saying 4-8". Let's move onto the next ones. Thursday night and Friday AM looks like a clipper but further north this time. Might be better for N-C PA. We could get a dusting to 1" as of right now. Super Bowl Sunday system looks weird on the GFS this morning. Not sure what it is trying to do but rain down in the MA and really not a whole lot of precip in this area. Not sure what the EURO had for that system but no big storms in sight at least from what I can tell. I should have chased this to NYC, I'll regret it. clarks green snow
Moderate snow for the past hour. Probably 2" so far here in Clarks Green. Wasn't expecting much as we are the fringe of any coastal but was hoping!

I-83 BLIZZARD
Snowing nicely here. Just over an inch total. For me down here this will likely crush Saturdays snow event. My bar is 3 inches.

var126
nice steady light snow in Lewisburg all day. keeps filling in over us - sorry Wmsptwx! MillvilleWx
Steady light snow at Millersville. Been going all day but flake size has bumped up a little and intensity is enough to accumulate on the side streets. About 2" in total here. Maybe an 1-2" tonight unless we get a rogue band on the backside swing through. Storm will be a beauty off LI and Cape Cod tomorrow. Wish I was there haha. 24/
Itunis
Maybe 5 or 6 inches here since last night? Hard to tell with snow from the previous event still here, but I imagine we've slowly accumulated a couple inches since morning.
MAG5035
Late afternoon measurement has me at 4.3" for the event total so far. Been out of the better deform snowfall more often than not with the precip regeneration around the area this afternoon, there was a nice heavy band west of here in Cambria County earlier this afternoon and off towards and above the State College area. Still some more action around so will see how things go this evening.
pawatch
Still snowing here. Been pretty much and all day thing. Radar still doesn't look to bad. It will be interesting to watch the blizzard unfold. One of the few times I watch TWC. "IPT is in the red circle"

Hard to tell with snow from the previous event still here, but I imagine we've slowly accumulated a couple inches since morning. I measured 2.7" this morning and had cleared everything, and just measured an additional 2.3" for an even 5" in Bellefonte so far. I think we should pick up another 1-2" this evening into the overnight.
Laurel Highlands Wx
Snowing the lightest it has all day. Was out shoveling and got a measurement of 6.0" on the dot not too shabby.
canderson
Can anyone find the latest KMDT snowfall measurement? The latest public info notice from CTP doesn't have anything from Dauphin, just a 1" report at 11:30 a.m. from Camp Hill. The lack of snow here, truly, is impressive given what's happening all around. CTP's taken any accumulations out of the MDT grid forecast.
NortheastPAWx
Amazing what's going on just 100 miles to our east. Amazingly...disgusting. They're going to get 2' easily and maybe even 3'...

I think it is a safe bet we are pretty much done with any meaningful snow. I am going to watch CNN tonight as they will cover the blizzard probably all night and dream it was our area getting it. :-)
Santa Clause
It's interesting to see people watching or following, for me it's just not worth it unless it's a hurricane or severe outbreak. If it's a snowstorm I'm all in for CPA or not interested lol.

I would have loved to chase this one but didn't pull the trigger. Not to mention dangerous.
Santa Clause
No, you're right it's definitely historic, but it feels like we just went through this same thing in feb 2013.
