Guest Pamela
Per early PNS from OKX: LGA 2.2 JFK 2.9 Nothing from the CPK yet EWR 3.6 Those are likely going to be final numbers for those stations. Maybe EWR picks up another tenth or two Its as of 4 AM...which you omitted. As for your "final numbers" assertion...wait till the event is over...thank you. Guest Pamela
And, of course, it is well established fact that they traditionally generally only measure about 7 or 8 out of every ten inches that falls at either of those airports...so one needs to pro rate for that anomaly. dmillz25
Still snowing in Brooklyn. Some sleet mixing in here and there.

Guest Pamela
Three first order local NYC stations all around 0.45 L.E. as of 5 AM...and they do report snow at that hour...though not sure if it is mixed rain & snow at present.
Guest Pamela
Three first order local NYC stations all around 0.45 L.E. as of 5 AM...and they do report snow at that hour...though not sure if it is mixed rain & snow at present. So any of these stations have less than say 4 inches of snow...they must have exceptionally bad ratios (less than 9:1)...which is not out of the question with a wet snow that falls at the freezing point. BoulderWX
had just about 3" of wet snow/slop here in the Hoboken area - rain/snow mix now - 2-4" for immediate NYC metro seemed to be the right call

SnoSki14
In the vicinity of 4" it's considered a moderate storm but no huge surprises temperatures been around 33F throughout the entire duration, It's a great aesthetically pleasing snowfall that won't be a big problem because of marginal above freezing temperatures. It's a win-win.
WintersGrasp
Will measure in a bit, but looks like between 3-4 inches here. All sleet now

BoulderWX
Got some quick sleep and it looks like I might have around six inches here. wow - very nice storm for many - ratios made a big difference. No way I have more than 3", probably had about 7:1 ratios
Superstorm93
Make sure you clean the snow up really well becuase everything left laying around will definitely freeze on Tuesday (supposed to only reach 24) The moisture content in this snow will make it like cement.
