Ian
Depends if the baro is 30.37" or 30.48".
Bob Chill
I don't think this run of the gfs really means much. It was close to something but will end up looking different every 12-24 hours across all guidance.

Heisy
144 hour GGEM has a nice 50/50 low in Canada, I don't have it beyond 144, but I imagine if a shortwave comes out of the NW it would cut underneath the HP

WinterWxLuvr
The next person that mentions a 50/50 low needs to lose 50% of their .............you know. Blocking, 50/50's, NAO, AO..........who gives a crap. I'd settle for the clippers I don't need the perfect storm and sure as hell don't want 2 feet. Could care less about clippers (unless they are one of the rare ones that blows up into a 6 inch deal). Don't like the cold that comes with them. Want a legit storm. Scarlet Pimpernel
Those are some funky looking developments the GFS pushes in its later time frames, beyond about 240 hours. It's like it urps up 3 Polar vortices that rotate down through here.

Scarlet Pimpernel
Fantasy range GFS is about as epic as it gets....Deep winter Yeah, no kidding! Though the GEFS mean for the past few days in the later time frames has been advertising a pretty deep trough and cold in the east. We'll see. As I said above, it looked pretty funky how it evolved...but would be pretty nice!
WinterWxLuvr
Fantasy range GFS is about as epic as it gets....Deep winter I'm ok with that up until about the 20-25th. After that, I hope winter dies.

If it verified they would have like 7 feet of snow on the ground after the past week of storms. Really epic stuff.
