Fields27
12z ECM maintained! Eurowx snow map identical to 0z 18-24" Philly Does that snow map account for higher ratios? What can we realistically expect for ratios?

_AR_
That euro snow map divided by 2 seems like a good place to set expectations for now.
famartin
Does that snow map account for higher ratios? What can we realistically expect for ratios? 12:1. Gusty winds break snowflakes apart and drifting tends to compact them, so while snow growth may be great, it likely won't be reflected on the ground. KamuSnow
Sigh of relief along with renewed cautious optimism and excitement thanks to the Euro. What I see is a track slightly north of 00z (by about 20 - 30 miles), slightly WEST by about 20 miles, and slightly stronger. More snow for areas like Allentown and Hazelton. Mostly just great that it pretty much held the course
wkd
That euro snow map divided by 2 seems like a good place to set expectations for now. You are probably right but Eurowx usually has much more conservative maps than Wxbell
famartin
per Eurowx 1.99" That's about what my source has. Must be ratios because that map has TTN near 30 inches.

Looks like from your previous photos it cuts off at 15" although I may have missed some. It's kinda a good problem...

The wind may take away some higher ratios but the drifts it will cause should make up for it in my book.
