Def going going to be a boxing day type cutoff in totals...Very sharp gradient

These bombing ocean lows always have sharp cutoffs. They create tremendous lift which means just to the west of that there's sinking air and no snow. That's why these systems are also very banded in nature. Boxing Day drove us crazy east of NYC with navigating through the bands.

Something that needs to be brought up is the precip field on the models today. The precip shield may end up looking like Boxing Day or Dec 30 2000. I expect there to be a very sharp cutoff to the western edge of the precip. Could be some screw zones in PA

There will almost certainly be an area (whether it's NYC, or I-287, or the Poconos) that get completely shafted while 50 miles east easily gets over a foot. Always happens in these storms.
