PhineasC
LOL NAM flips from 18Z and gives me next to nothing.
Jebman
With the band perfectly set up over us. Yeah, that's what is going to happen. Oh, NAM. The winter will remember. The band will set up right over your back yard.
snowfan
Toss it. It's the nam. This solution is goofy.

87storms
this run of the nam didn't make many friends in the northeast either. it's a step back from the 18z gfs.

Bob Chill
East trend on the NAM I suppose? It's not an east trend. First off the persistent band after the the coastal takes over is a digital fantasy. We've been here many times in the past. The beautiful radar presentation to the west looks like a sure hit. Then it starts falling apart overhead. And we keep waiting for the magical coastal band to push in. And it does but unfortunately it's from Philly north. nj2va
Toss it. It's the nam. This solution is goofy. Yea I wouldn't put much stock in it. Definitely a weird solution over DC. I do like that is screwed NYC though.

mattb65
Love the random inverted trough that sits over DC. I wouldn't count on that. I am wishing I was still in Boston for this one. seems like no matter what the evolution, this storm still manages to drop at least 2" of liquid on them. Pretty classic look for a Boston blizzard. EastCoast NPZ
To the random Tues band over to DC to a sharp cutoff in SNE, yeah it looks a little odd. Not feeling great but not putting a noose around my neck either. Then again, I'm new to this area. It'll be interesting to see what the rest of the 0z guidance shows. You'll learn. Front end is where it is at unless we see a bomb off the southern NC coast with a negative tilt.
Bob Chill
Are you looking at the model? PHL north gets screwed. On this one run of the nam, yes it's definitely east. I'll wait for the gfs/euro before calling east trend. And like you, I don't really care about much other than my yard. Your yard has fared better through the years with these storms. I haven't felt good about this all day.
