DDweatherman
I dont know quite how much better it can get for us, but how thankful am I for the rainy miller A acting as the psuedo block and stalling this thing to a T on the Euro. If that happens 50 miles southwest, we're in the KU book.
nj2va
eyeballing, Euro almost 0.7" for DC I'm through 90 on WxBell. 0.5" for DC. 0.8" Balt. 1.5"+ on Eastern Shore. 0.2" at IAD. Are my maps screwed up?
DDweatherman
Sorry matt, but no way DC gets .7 on the Euro.

clskinsfan
Oh man, sharp precip cut off. Balt county is .3 to .8 west to east Yeah. This kind of jumper is bad news for us western folks. We need to cash in on any front end thump. Then watch the guys to the east score.

nj2va
Get that low to take another 25-50 mile shift south as it exits the NC coast and we'd be even better.
mappy
Yeah. This kind of jumper is bad news for us western folks. We need to cash in on any front end thump. Then watch the guys to the east score. Total precip is a bit better than that, but yeah. Western folks need to hope for a better front end thump while eastern folks want the reach around
Deck Pic
Very sharp edge on wxbell maps. I don't see .7 @ dca? europrecip1.JPG my maps have the contour further west....0.75" for MBY....subtract out the 0.05 from today and you get 0.7" or at least 0.65"....of course your maps are higher res so I trust them more now that I have seen them.... Bob Chill
Get that low to take another 25-50 mile shift south as it exits the NC coast and we'd be even better. It would only take a small adjustment with neg tilt and precip shield goes west quickly.

DDweatherman
Total precip is a bit better than that, but yeah. Western folks need to hope for a better front end thump while eastern folks want the reach around Its becoming less wrap around and more coastal associated (as in straight up CCB/deform). Yes it backs into us but that is due to the pseudo block stalling it and retrograding it a bit. Plus its absolutely plummeting in pressure down to sub 980.
