Why there? Is there less moisture to the south?

Marginal mid-levels may muck it up in your neck of the woods...though you could stay barely all snow, its close. In that scenario, you'd be similar to ORH with probably around 6" on the Euro.

Once you get west of your area, the precip drops off too much.

Euro stays pretty cold at the sfc...all the way right into Boston.

Just gotta worry about that sneaky mid-level warmth for a time. It's cold enough on Euro, but it's close. So it is something to watch.

That, however, has been a consistent feature on the Euro from run to run.

The GFS looked to be warmer than that, but it also still seems to be getting settled into a track.

Thats what usually happens lol like we always say, . We have Ryan but he Debbie's everything all the time so it can get frustrating admittedly

Because sometimes things aren't always a Currier and Ives painting. LOL. There is this weird vibe about how when someone posts something that isn't all snow..it's deflating a balloon or being a Debbie. Maybe it's because there are some flags? It wouldn't matter where I lived. I'd say the same if I lived on top of Mt Wachusett, or Seal Island off of Chatham. It's a thread the needle system.
