winds are going more northerly - we might need to keep an eye on this even down here in the tropical lowlands

33 degrees with steady rainfall. The rain has been heavy at times. I dont think there is any more brine on the roads from all the heavy rains washing it away, so if we do go back over to frozen overnight - look out Sat morning rush hour

Hmmm... even down here, sleet is mixing back in with the rain.

I'm kind of interested in tomorrow morning before the surface becomes too hostile....currently warm nose at around 800mb is there but much less severe than the NAM was predicting..which is why heavy rates are winning some places...

It's going to mostly shut off around here relatively soon.. other than backlash during the day with crappy temps.

I wonder if some of this is rates.. temps aloft shouldn't be cooling much yet.

Wow, wasn't expecting to see sleet mix back in. Must be some cooling aloft.

33.9/33

Some of the heaviest precip of the storm in places reporting the change. Temps still chilling just above freezing aloft. Real cooling not till nearer dawn.
