A little odd. You would think the heavier bands here would've slid right over to you.

Nope, watching on radar and it's like a wall was up. Would be nice and heavy approaching the western county line and then poof, would be light returns once they got here. Oh well.

What a difference a mile makes.  Farragut Square remained green throughout the event.  I've got light rain now.

 

rain here now too....yes...in marginal events huge differences...that park is at 90'...Farragut Sq at 50'...I am doing some work off-site at 11th and Penn at 12' and they had almost no stickage........Ian is at 250-300' and he had almost 2"....

 

ETA - since I moved down here, the differences in a number of storms in 5-6 blocks has been amazing...on 1/2/14, there was nothing downtown...got home to almost 1" 6 blocks up the hill....Ian texted me with 2" and I was like WTF, so I ran home not realizing I was missing anything.....when I lived in MTP at 210', it was like 2 different worlds sometimes
