Deck Pic
Just got back to DC from Reston.. it's like a different world out there.. 2-3 inches with snow covered side streets.. barely a coating in NW it pretty much melts once there is a lull....there will be nothing to show for it in a couple hours except maybe a slushy patch for me and you
mappy
A little odd. You would think the heavier bands here would've slid right over to you. Nope, watching on radar and it's like a wall was up. Would be nice and heavy approaching the western county line and then poof, would be light returns once they got here. Oh well.

Bob Chill
I measured 1.8 - 2.0" on a bunch of surfaces. It's hard to say because the pillow flakes compacting are uneven on the surface. I'm prob going to call it 2".

Deck Pic
What a difference a mile makes. Farragut Square remained green throughout the event. I've got light rain now. rain here now too....yes...in marginal events huge differences...that park is at 90'...Farragut Sq at 50'...I am doing some work off-site at 11th and Penn at 12' and they had almost no stickage........Ian is at 250-300' and he had almost 2".... ETA - since I moved down here, the differences in a number of storms in 5-6 blocks has been amazing...on 1/2/14, there was nothing downtown...got home to almost 1" 6 blocks up the hill....Ian texted me with 2" and I was like WTF, so I ran home not realizing I was missing anything.....when I lived in MTP at 210', it was like 2 different worlds sometimes
