Disclaimer: I haven't looked at radar, have no real expectations, and don't generally fuss over 1 inch snows...

 

that said...

 

...this wasn't supposed to start until midday, right? Why are people jumping ship hours before it is supposed to start?

 

 

LOL @ people cancelling the storm already.

Because this is what people do?  When the Euro, GFS and NAM all basically agree with a lead time of <12 hours, you should go ahead and feel confident.

There's a solution we haven't seen, the HRRR is a complete whiff for DC. Precip stays west of IAD to Baltimore and then develops over the bay.

 

 

No changes.  Still a shutout for DC.

 

This has been the case since it was in range.  HRRR and RAP have either been misses or crazy late starts....I blew it off since it was inconsistent with all other guidance, but now that we are closer it is certainly concerning for immediate DC metro......now the 12z NAM Is out and is suggesting the same thing.  <0.05" for much of DC metro

Same with Hi-Res...a small event for immediate DC and immediate virginia burbs.....but looks really good for Germantown/Columbia
