LIJohn
I'm hearing the models are trending towards heavy rain for Sunday night's Patriots game. Can anybody else shed light on this?
Chrisrotary12
The chance is certainly there. But keep it quiet......we wouldn't want Bill getting word of this and then it be wrong and him trashing us Mets again.
dryslot
I'm going to text Bill now and tell him to keep the ball on the ground in the running game

wxeyeNH
A friend of mine that is going to the game (driving down from my area in Central NH) just called and asked me about this. We are over 72 hours out so precip timing could easily change 6 hours one way or the other. My guess is even with a more easterly storm track it is going to start as rain almost anyway you cut it. If the timing is faster and the track keeps trending east then maybe a change to snow. Mets like Harvey will probably start talking about this tonight. PS My friends ride home after the game could be a bit fun up this way
dryslot
Its probably over at half time
wxeyeNH
Its the 18Z NAM. Its right at the end time of the model run. Its 72 hours away. Just for ****s and grins it would be raining or snowing heavily during the game as the 850 line slowly moves east. Again this is way out in fantasy land but if the timing held weather would be a factor one way or the other....

wxeyeNH
So you think it will be snow if it's precipitating? I just posted in the NNE thread. Does seem too warm but the selfish weather nerd part of me would love to see the game played in a heavy wet snow. Giant parachutes and 1/4 mile vis would be so much fun! They will probably mix it up a bit from the last time they faced them to keep indy off there toes expecting them to come out and run it down there throats, No matter what the weather is, I don't think we have much trouble moving on unless we self implode
FRWEATHA
At least if we continue in a snow drought I think we have a Pats SB to look forward to. And OT the Bruins are improving.

HoarfrostHubb
Have the models told us anything more about the precipitation for Sunday evening? Depends on which you put stock in. The GFS says "meh" to any big rain. Euro says wet and windy
