The low isn't that strong to begin with. It's all upper level trough axis. It has nothing to do with it being a bomb of a storm. It's UL trough. The new GGEM is 1003mb over ORH. That's weak and still fairly west. It's all about the trough.

Rev what do you have to say?

I've already said it. He's getting snow and a lot of it..and I think he knows that. And the ones that want the snow in areas that haven't had much aren't getting much except at the tail end.

Take one your of masseuse trips up to the mountains and find some legs to massage

I would bet against it...but I'm not sure you can discount it. I see scenarios where it can happen. 00z Euro was pretty close actually. We'll see what 12z does.

I would, maybe an initial freezing drizzle but straight rain, nah. this is bombing and crashing heights as it moves NE.

Yes I'm still thinking we flip to snow in the interior with 1-2. My thoughts have remained the same..

You are gonna want an amped system then...you aren't getting a flip to snow with a weak sauce frontal wave.

Not at a computer today, How is this looking for the White mtns? I'll be in North Conway.

Probably rain initially and then a flip to snow there...they are in an area that could see like a C-1" or possibly several inches of snow...close call.

dont worry it will change until game time, its strong, its weak, its east its west. 12 Z GFS smokes the Whites,

That really is the scenario in play right now with these runs unless we get that trough to dig for oil further east and develop the low sooner, Doubtful at this point

Does the 12Z Euro still show decent snows for VT ski areas, or does it not throw enough QPF back that way?   Thanks.

Its maybe about a half inch of qpf for the Greens now. Prob like a 4-6" type paste event.

The zone of appreciable snowfall will be real narrow but verbatim we could do 3-6" on the EURO with around a half inch QPF total.

The upslope in NVT could be the main event.
