PB GFI
Are you nutz. It had the storm for days, just slightly off shore. If this was snow the euro would have been predicting 10 to 15 inches since Wed and the GFS partly cloudy skies .It catches on 48 hours out ? wow. That's a bad job. File this when it's south and east with the next winter storm . If this was snow the arguments in here would have been epic. LongBeachSurfFreak
Nice big hit for the New England ski resorts. An just like the trend this year it looks like even up there you need to be above 2k which is pathetic for mid January!
IsentropicLift
Euro is a slight tick East and a slight tick colder. It's not going to matter much with the surface freezing line in Central PA.

Rjay
GFS 18z is a bit more east and weaker. Throws some mixture precipitation 30miles northwest of the city. Ride the Euro. Jason215
I've been lurking this forum for about 15 years. I posted on the New England Forum that I just booked a Killington Ski Trip arriving tomorrow (sat night) Skiing Sunday and Monday. Hoping this storm delivers the goods and I'm not skiing in the rain. How does the Euro look for central VT above say 2000'?

Ahhh why would even think that's possible for Brooklyn .
NYCSNOWMAN2020
I guess the way this winter has been going ; you feel like you are walking thru the sand at 90 degrees eventually you start see mirages ..
metTURNEDpro
18z nam shows a burst of heavy ice/sleet around 15z on 1-18-2015 or 9am, before changing to rain. I wonder if this colder solution will make any difference. Sometimes heavy precipitation causes dynamic cooling and it could be bad especially just upstate in the Hudson valley!
