Have two products...A Winter Weather Alert/Statement (no watch..warning...advisory...SPS..blah...blah...make people read the da*n product instead of getting so worked up about a headline) and a Blizzard Warning. The NWS is working on a Hazards Simplification project, and I attended a Town Hall meeting about it at AMS. It's going to be a long process to get to where it needs to go, and will require input from mets, the publics, emergency management, and social scientists.
