csnavywx
If we're going to cash in on a SSW-induced blocking pattern, it's usually a month after the event. Still a ways to go in that regard. Long range starting to show the flip to cold. But of course, we will need the southern sliders to continue.
csnavywx
Mixed rain to snow showers possible tomorrow afternoon and early evening in tandem with the large upper low and attendant vort max. Skies will be mostly clear in the morning, allowing for some insolation under steady mid-level CAA. Should be just enough instability to kick them off. Might be a lightning strike or two with the stronger cores.

Lowershoresadness
it just sucks when it hasn't snowed in awhile. it sucks even more during a pandemic because there isn't shit to do. just give us something to track for awhile

SnowtoRain
Rather impressed with how moderate the low temps have been since Jan 15. The daily average is near normal, but the low temps since Jan 15 have barely snuck below freezing at night and only for short periods.
Prestige Worldwide
I hope I end up eating these words; but I’m not excited about the coming systems at all now. Really no cold air and that means rain for me at the beach.

This is what I keep saying- I haven't been below the 20's in two years. It's the above normal lows that kill us, not the highs. 27 minutes ago, Prestige Worldwide said: I hope I end up eating these words; but I’m not excited about the coming systems at all now. Lowershoresadness
marginal events don't even come close to producing snow down this way. I need the air mass that's currently in Siberia to have a chance

SnowtoRain
Feels like winter today, saw some flurries. First and possibly last time this winter.... 25th looks like rain, except for upper shore and the follow up storm has some potential but at this range storms have generally trended to rain. SnowtoRain
First WWA of the winter. Will be interesting to see how this storm works out. It seems most of the snow on the meso models is depicted as coming in very few heavier bands, which is always a tenuous way to get snow around here. 37.8/24.
