SabreAce33
I have a nagging feeling we get a big chunk of dry slot at some point. @WxMan1 posted some images that seem to show the Eastern Shore smack between two areas of enhanced lift. That's always a guessing game until things are just about rolling, though.
WeathermanB
NWS has magnolia DE getting 6 to 10 inches of snow, that map looks computer generated.

I was getting nervous watching HRRR today cause it showed dry air eating away our snow, but it's now trending in the right direction in terms of a good snowstorm. And yes, the eastern batch of moisture in Atlantic and western moisture in southwest VA will consolidate and radar fills in. I'm not too worried about dry slotting here in Salisbury. But dry air will limit some accumulation NW of town. 1 minute ago, PrinceFrederickWx said: Snowdude’s back- oh yeah!! Yes! Sorry I wasn't here for the early December storm, but we nailed that one for Saliisbury.

I see you guys getting close to 6", maybe more as the low bombs off the coast. I was just a bit concerned with some dry air at first.

But I'm thinking more isolated spots could see that in heaviest banding. This is a monster storm. Could be surprised in the end (in a good way). Wxdavis5784
Hoping for an overperformer! Sitting here in Calvert County wishing I didn’t have to work tomorrow or Friday because I would have packed the wife and kids up and headed to the in-laws in Bridgeville, DE! Good luck to all, I hope we’re all happy when we wake up!

csnavywx
Lift associated with coastal front is headed in to the eastern shore. Should be seeing some localized rippage with that.
PrinceFrederickWx
About 1/4” so far. Reminds me a lot of the President’s Day 2015 snow- very tiny, powdery flakes. Calm winds. It was really nice to stand out in. :-)
csnavywx
Getting blasted under this new f-gen band. <1/4sm. Small flakes, but tons of them. It's headed up your way, Prince.
csnavywx
Getting a few larger aggregates. Snow is mainly dendrites and stellar plates, with a few columns mixed in. Looks like most of the lift is in the DGZ tonight, which should result in some good snow growth, albeit dry, given the low column temps.

csnavywx
2.5" here. Steady moderate to occasionally heavy snow. Getting increasingly wind-whipped and blown. Small to medium sized aggregates (mostly dendrites). Low looks to be tied almost entirely to the coastal front, putting it on the far western side of the envelope. Should keep the snow around longer since it will take longer for the northern stream shortwave to kick this thing out to sea.
