Would agree that the pattern improves by the end of this week -- although there's a risk the pattern becomes *too* suppressive. Suppression threat looming here. Best shot may actually be the wave later in the week, particularly if it can get closer to a neutral tilt earlier. Still plenty of cold air around. SnowtoRain
NAM 3k means business, paints 2 to 5" across Delmarva with 1 to 2" per hour rates. Definately won't happen but always fun to see this possibility this close in.

SnowtoRain
34/33.7, still looks like a 0 to 2" event. @CAPE, anything of note other than some panic in the main thread?

Its pretty much wait and see how things develop now. If we get some decent rates this evening, 1-2 seems doable for Easton. If the 6z GFS is to be believed, maybe to 3 or 4. Lower shore is a bit more uncertain. I could see coastal DE getting a few hours of pretty good snow on the back end.

SnowtoRain
35, rain and sleet. 1" of snow might be a stretch based on obs from the western shore. At least we do not have sun to deal with...

csnavywx
Yep, I think Salisbury manages a consolation prize with this event. Enough lift to overwhelm the low level dry air for a while. Might eke out an inch or so there.
