Mailman
Canadian is a bit too far north for my liking, but I'll take it at this point. Huge front end thump, it appears.

Are we looking at the same thing or are you talking about the track because I see this and scream lock it in! And what **** is this? Thats insane for that area. Rdd9108
Btw one last thing before I go to bed, the GFS has two arctic outbreaks with temps not getting out of the 20s all next week. Wow if that verified JB would have actually guessed something right. I guess if you throw enough darts eventually one will hit the bullseye. Burghblizz
Only thing i dont like about the GFS is it looks progressive to me. In reality those are usually your 3-5" type snow producers unless there is the absolute perfect track. I know....warm tongue one day, too progressive the next. In any event it should be interesting

RitualOfTheTrout
I was referring to the track. Yeah, if you look at the panels on last nights cmc I'd like to see it head due east from its point at hour 108, rather than end up on the panhandle of WV at hour 114 but there is a decent high to the north which would help keep the warm tongue at bay. dj3
Wow happy with the models last night. Good to see a move back towards a more organized system on the GFS and the GGEM still looks amped. Hope to see this continue today!

RitualOfTheTrout
Everyone geared up about Sunday? Today could be a mess. Sent from my iPhone Fortunately for us this will hit after rush hour and after all the kids are safely at school, then by the time we get to the commute home things "should" be alright again. A lot of roads still have a coating of salt so that should help too.

Good to see a move back towards a more organized system on the GFS and the GGEM still looks amped. Hope to see this continue today! The Euro being the less amped and weak worries me a bit, but everyone always mentions a bias it has (or did have?) about holding to much energy in the SW. I guess we will see if that is the case or not. Overall though, I agree overnight trends were encouraging.

I would like to see it stronger for sure, and I really wouldn't mind overall model trend toward a stronger solution as i am more worried about suppression at this time. Rdd9108
Ahhh yes the dreaded suppression track. Looks like that cold air drilling in could turn this into a slider. Good thing this is 3-4 days away. Atleast we have the GFS on our side. I am worried that the Euro is gonna be suppressed, usually it is really amped up. Oh well, its like an ice skating rink out there now.
NewCastleWX
I'm in Hermitage. Freezing rain and sleet. The roads still appear to be ok but any untreated surface is like an ice rink. My car is covered with ice.
