The 4 Seasons
Probably an error, no station on Long Island is even close to that. Could very well be but HVN is at 39 and has been for several hours, figured 44 is not too far fetched if HVN is 39. Also all locations seem to be warming as the night progresses. weathafella
Well rain has a advantage, With that tiny snow Friday my town used the amount of salt for a KU. Rain takes care of that. I'm surprised at he this is playing out frankly but now is the winter of our discontent.

Cold Miser
Schools are closed here..looks like quite an icing event shaping up No. Meh yup Lol. yup Son's middle school closed here in Brooklyn...I suppose just for the lolz? I just got back taking my daughter to her bus In Canterbury for high school which is 30 miles south of here in Norwich, which not closed or delayed (as expected). Was 30F and raining out, but a bit warmer when I got to Canterbury. Not sure if I see anything major from this storm except for adding to my rainfall total for the season, and possibly breaking some kind of record for most rain in winter.
