Good thing we were not under a WWA huh I thought northern Ohio and the northern tier of Indiana might meet the criteria of a winter weather advisory for this system. I wasn't going to say much about it on this forum unless I thought higher snow totals would be out there in CLE CWA or IWX CWA. Obviously there is not huge confidence in snow amounts over 3". Decent sized flakes, but not very pack able. Layer of sleet and glaze of ice underneath as well. In a good spot for the rest of the night. WITH SOME REPORTS OF UPWARDS OF TWO INCHES NEAR AND NORTH OF I-88...LOCALIZED AMOUNTS APPROACHING 4 INCHES CANNOT BE RULED OUT. Afternoon guy at LOT did a hell of a job IMHO. Delta Ts between the 900 mb level and the lake are actually pretty decent (getting into the upper teens C with time). Gonna be a super low topped setup.
