Geos
Had about a 20 minute burst of +SN in Racine with the batch before 3:30. Visibility went down to about a block. Definitely over an inch up this way. Starting to get back into the moderate returns.

Hoosier
Toss 'em in the trash. Returns keep breaking up upon approach. It's ovah. lol laf.png Most members didn't have it snowing until about now, but I'd have to take the under on the SREF at this point. We'd have to get really lucky with banding. I figured you'd enjoy that so that's why I posted.

cyclone77
Have no idea how much we got since I worked all day and there was just too much wind to measure here. Guess I'll just call it a half inch.
tuanis
Somewhere around 3 inches up here. Hard to tell with all the drifting. Several cars off the road near the house this afternoon. Looks like another band is going to blow through soon. About 5 or 6 inches on the ground.

Powerball
interesting-ish...for the squalls.... nws dmx.gif Meh, it looks like a typical Special Weather Statement to me (DTX's CWA is under one for tonight's snowfall), except they're experimenting with the impact-based warnings/advisories versus the county-wide warnings/advisories... Ajdos
Snow started, visibility dropped quickly, and winds have picked up. Lots of blowing and drifting going on. I cant remember the last time we had snow with temps this cold and the winds of course..going to be an interesting evening.

MCS_hunter
I'm in central MN right now. Snowed big flakes at a moderate to sometimes heavy rate earlier before noon and we got about 2 inches. The winds picked up during the snow fall and visibility was decreased to about 1/8 of a mile at one point. Snow has stopped but the winds are still strong and gusty and there is a lot of blowing snow. Visibility has increased to about a mile. I felt good questioning the areal coverage of the blizzard warning earlier as it is now extended for my county.
