The 4 Seasons
Here's a map I made today for totals just for CT, it's just an estimation based on spotter reports and some additional reports.

The 4 Seasons
I believe you, I have no way of knowing. I took all the reports from ALY, OKX, BOX PNS and made a map. There is always going to be false reports in those public information statements but the NWS can't check every single one. I just made the map for fun/ for a visual. If I knew earlier I wouldn't have put it in...figured it was possible the hills in the NW/NE could have hit 4+ today.
Snowciopath
The NWS report of 1.6" in Ashford is also bogus... I measured 2.6", which is corroborated by the 2.5" report just a few miles from me in Storrs. No idea how the guy in Ashford got such a low measurement, but it's not the first time lol. I submitted my own 2.6" report to them and they put in their update at 1:41 PM, but after that they went back to using 1.6" one lol
