phil123_123
Hello, First off apologies if I am unintentionally breaking some forum rules- this is my first post here, so I may not be fully versed on all the details of this forum's etiquette. I have spent a fair amount of time trying to get hold of a list of NOAA historical weather station readings from when the station first went live to now, to no avail. It is for the following station: WMO Index Number: 84628 ICAO Location Indicator: SPIM Station Name: Lima-Callao / Aerop. Internacional Jorgechavez Country: Peru WMO Region: 3 Station Position: 12-00S 077-07W (dms) Station Elevation (Ha): 12 Meters Upper Air Position: 12-01S 077-02W (dms) Upper Air Elevation (Hp): 13 Meters All I seem to be able to get hold of is the following yearly summarie and recent data: ftp://ftp.atdd.noaa.gov/pub/GCOS/WMO-Normals/RA-III/PR/84628.TXT http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/SPIM?days=364#Data I couldn't seem to get data from NOAA's NOWdata service despite double checking with the FAQ's: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/csd/info/NOWdata/FAQ.php I have spent a lot of time going in circles (and being driven mad!) on the NOAA website, using google filetype:.txt searches and so am only asking for your help having tried my upmost up to this point. I am pretty sure the data is available as I downloading a 60 or so page text file for a station in Zambia 2 years ago for a different project - I remember a dropdown menu for country and station that then loaded all historical data with each set of readings at a particular time on each line (for wetbulb, drybulb, wind speed, precipitation etc.). Rather stupidly I have long lost the bookmark for this :-( To cut a long story short I would really appreciate any help getting hold of this data or pointers where to look/who to ask. Many thanks in advance, Philippe

Qaanaaq
Same here ! Thanks Ohleary- I tried that link but barometric pressure does not seem to be on the data set available. I am looking for hourly barometric recordings beginning 2 /20 /15 for a location in Virginia. (Sterling NWS office would do) but can't seem to find a way to access that info (if it exists). Does anyone know how to get this information? Couple more questions: Can anyone recommend an accurate digital barometer where we could record and download hourly measurements over a matter of weeks? I have a Lacrosse Tech 2812 unit. Is the barometer in that confounded thing accurate? thanks, Vincent
