powderfreak
at day 7! Damn, didn't get this one right at hour 7! Friends are already calling about Friday and Monday. I don't even want to look. Enjoying my 6" so far, right on the edge of the heavy stuff to the east. It wants to back in but will it? Haha the EURO did show this storm first and I still think it's the superior model. But boy did it barf on itself this time. For summary...MVL QPF on the EURO: 12z yesterday... 1.0" 00z last night... 0.5" 12z today.... 0.15"
eyewall
About 3 inches in Winooski so far.
adk
At least 1.5" in the last hour here along the BTV lakefront. Really impressive micro-weather with that band. 12:39pm update from NWS really nailed that: HAVE TOWATCH POTENTIAL ENHANCEMENT HERE ACRS THE EASTERN CPV THRU THEAFTN HOURS ASSOCIATED WITH NORTHERLY WINDS AND ADDITIONAL LLVLMOISTURE COMING OFF LAKE CHAMPLAIN. LATEST RAP AND HRRR SHOW ONCETHE MID/UPPER LVL BECOME SATURATED...THE SNOW MAY STICK AROUNDTHRU 00Z THIS EVENING. I'd say so. Also, winds are ripping on a north/northeast fetch. powderfreak
Yeah not doing that over here... 1-2" from what I can tell but its blowing like stink. Radar looks impressive in that BTV band...
eyewall
The band is starting to move to our west but it looks like we may be closing in on 4 inches.
mreaves
2.75" here and only a few stray flakes falling now. Keeping an eye on Thursday night and Sunday night. If I was cocky, I'd say that I guarantee that I have a deeper snow pack this time next week than anyone in SNE but, I am not cocky.
peteradiator
heavy bands have been trying all day to move west and now its happening. atleast for central nh and maine mtns

wxeyeNH
18Z NAM getting juicier for Friday. Over .50 for Maine. Maybe a 3-6" for Vermont and increasing to 4-8" for Maine.
eekuasepinniW
this little tail end grand finale band is the first time we've had nice sized flakes. too late though. I cannot find any spot that isn't obviously wind blown that has more than 3.5" right now..... lol

powderfreak
Yeah we're basically done now. One last kick in the nads before it was over. What do you have for a total?
klw
Yeah we're basically done now. One last kick in the nads before it was over. What do you have for a total? I am guessing he has two but they are bruised.
eekuasepinniW
I let that euro map last night that had that glorious teal color up here make me think something impressive was going to happen. This didn't even reach clipper-levels of interest. I'd like a handwritten apology from everyone responsible for running that thing.
mahk_webstah
Yeah we're basically done now. One last kick in the nads before it was over. what did you end up with?
borderwx
2" here, I was actually surprised it snowed. Could see blue skies over the townships this morning on the ski before work. Never broke out of the single digits all day and now with a stout north wind. Parents in Brunswick ME are having some fun
hvysnow79
I might just get award for lowest amount, just 1.4" today...lol.
dendrite
what did you end up with?I don't know how you have 15". It has to be differences in measuring locations or something. I can't even find a 15" drift...nevermind an avg of 15" in the yard. The actual snow depth isn't even 15". This one is going to leave a permanent weather scar...whatever that means. lol
wxeyeNH
Well eek, congrads. You gave me a forecast of 7" last evening and I ended up with 7 or 8".

klw
3 so far is the estimate here, lots of wind and coming down at a decent clip at the moment. bizarre drift patterns on the road when I drove home- it looked like lots of moguls were forming. Nittany88
Looks like ASOS had a little problem today with measuring. 0.03" for 3.6" or 120:1 ratio! Lol
eekuasepinniW
The teal on those euro maps was 40" right? I never would have guessed it could be off by about three feet even after the event was already underway.
