SnowGoose69 Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 If the lakes were frozen and the ocean was colder we could have had a chance at 0 The air mass is not as cold as the one last year, remember last year watching the cold air advect in from PA most places there were already below 0 by this point...if that front last January arrived 4-5 hours earlier we probably would have gone below 0 in the city but the core of the coldest air was a few hours after sunrise.
