w1pf
I'm with Will on that and I don't think the story is told in total ... still have many hours prior to cold fropa, and this "tuck" sort of pattern behind that meso-beta scaled low out E of Cape Ann merely delays...for the time being. Temps could still spike as that cfront nears, the gradient steepens just a little, and warm conveyor winds pick up a bit. well, about an hour and a half until midnight, and while I might make it to 40F (unlikely >50F as predicted) I'm gonna get some shuteye for work tomorrow.. at 34.7/34.2 Bust no matter how you spin it.. dendrite
The 2 Newbury stations (>1400ft) in western Merrimack shot up to 48/46 and are back down to 39F now. Creeping up to 31.6F here, but the sites above 800ft are mixing out. Getting a little bit of wind now too.

N. OF PIKE
Very impressive CAD hold for many. I'd like to see a map with the highs during the event and where a "net gain" in snow was accumulated. Perhaps overlaid with the model runs of the day and predicted high temps. Pretty good bust on high temps for a lot of new England.
