THANKS TO COORDINATION WITH GYX. HAVE CONTINUED THE WINTER WEATHER
HEADLINES ALONG THE MA/NH BORDER HAS TEMPS ARE STILL HOVERING AT
32F AND WITH A PATCH OF PRECIP MOVING THROUGH COULD STILL SEE
FREEZING RAIN/DRIZZLE CONDITIONS THROUGH NOON. BIGGEST SPOT TO
WATCH IS IN ESSEX COUNTY WITH HAS A RENEWED SURGE IN COLD AIR AS
THE MESO-LOW MOVED PAST CAPE COD.

33/32 with light drizzle.  Everything still glazed.  probably .10" of ice here.

I thought you'd be below freezing down there.  Just ran down to Big Y--car thermometer was reading 32 there.

Surprised to see the temp here has ticked down in the last hour.  I'd expected the reverse.

30.6/30

The mesos all had this yesterday , guys. I'm not surprised at all. Still 36 here.

Sure did... I pointed it out myself, that delaying the warm intrusion would quite possible given the NAM clear closure of said feature east of Cape Ann.

At the time .... I wasn't predicted protracted icing .. but, the public tends to notice when there is a forecast of 55 and it's only 35 - haha!

But ...I suppose give it time... There is still push aloft to bring it in, and eventually the small cyclone's influence wanes.. Could yet wash over later in the afternoon.

The snow on the ground isn't likely going anywhere, ..unless the DP gets above about 37F, and even then we'd need some wind and additional rain.

In fact, folks may want to consider scraping off driveways before sundown, because that post fropa brief spike ain't melting off driveways when the DPs crashing again, and by tomorrow we're in an arctic domain that doesn't seem to really relent over the next week.  Whatever doesn't melt off is going to be adherent

Any chance of Tip's flip happening tonight for anyone?

Heh, for the record I did say that was "weak sauce", meaning outside shot --

The NAM was flagging a bit of ANA signal... so it wasn't so much of a flip, as it would have been just a blossomed area of light action zipping up out of NE Penn later tonight. I haven't even looked to see if that noise is still in the runs since.

Yeah. I understood it was a long shot, but the scenario for it looked ok at the time

Thanks anyways
