40/70 Benchmark
Sleet line is still getting a ton of resistance in the SW and W ORH hills. Man, visions of 2007...

DavisStraight
Congrats. I'm really unsure what's going to happen here. I'm not confident we'll have much more in the way of true snow, and instead we'll have 'all the rest' for the remainder of the system. Looks like a heavier band of snow coming into your area on radar. Missing me to the NW

Ginx snewx
Pretty much all sleet here. Just shy of 2" for snow. Not sure how much sleet will accumulate. The snow seems to have compacted a bit already from the sleet.and back to snow, cool night
ORH_wxman
Puking snow here atm, with some bigger flakes mixing in. SLeet line isn't too far west of you...so some large aggregates mixing in...but the sleet line hasn't been moving much the last hour, so you might get another hour or so out of this if lucky...but it could also just suddenly flip at any point...thats how close these can be. radarman
Puking snow here atm, with some bigger flakes mixing in. Nice. That ZDR loop that Will posted shows that the warm air aloft is having trouble getting over the higher terrain East of the Quabbin. I'm just on the other side and went over to sleet an hour ago. Feels like being on the west side of the Taconics lol. But without the CAA snow streamers
40/70 Benchmark
24.9/21 I have observed a transition from fluffy dendrites, to that granular, "sand" type of snow...a la 12/13/07 traffic debacle. Probably indicative of some warming in the snow growth zone.

Damage In Tolland
Cold air is def gonna retard that warm torch air longer than models had. Some places tomorrow morning will still be 31-32 @NWSBoston: [7p] Latest HRRR holding onto cold air longer across the CT River Valley where winds are presently funneling S http://t.co/dvPL7ed8af

Yep...and the next stage will be going from baking powder to the big aggregates which is happening in ORH county as the warm layer gets fought off. New England Storm
Snowing at a good pace, around an inch give or take. Roads are not so good. Seeing a lot folks having issues driving. Based on radar it looks like snow will stick around for just a little longer before the sleet and rain mix in. and now..... sleet mixing in
