Clinch Leatherwood
are the radars empty because they're in precip mode? Weatherscope has had just the faintest of hints of precip here a couple of times yet it keeps snowing.
Quincy
Just 0.2" here in Marlborough, but amounts were variable. More squalls seemed to hit SW and NE parts of Connecticut. Saw numerous trucks with the plow down in southern Tolland County earlier.

Weatherscope has had just the faintest of hints of precip here a couple of times yet it keeps snowing. I think it's really low level stuff...and not sure how big the flakes are down there, but up here we've got a couple tenths of arctic small flakes. I noticed the flakes were so small the ASOS has been reporting it as haze here. Like 4sm HZ.

JC-CT
.5 New, diamond dustPerfect way to describe it, really fascinating to look at.Just got home to a surprisingly winter-like scene. There was nothing on the ground in Glastonbury center. And it's still lightly snowing.
Clinch Leatherwood
Same. Everything looks like it needs to be dust mopped. radar filling up a bit, the fickle finger is tickling. Models did well here overall they showed that sliver of heavier stuff earlier today to my north I thought pretty well, and now this little thumb of better precip tickling SE areas. A tickle of snow overnight sounds so much better than a dusting.

SouthCoastMA
Yeah this band coming through seems to be the best bet for actual accumulations. Maybe someone can pull off an inch if it sticks around and prolongs it's tickle.
Clinch Leatherwood
Ended up in the quarter inch range tops. It's sublimating sometimes in between bursts of snow. Pretty much as expected this was a non event here

TheSnowman
I don't kinow what was up with All the radars I use today but it seemed like it never snowed on them while in Real Life, it snowed All Day!! Amazing winter day. 20* and below, and over an Inch in Providence (somehow less at my Cumberland home, which as I complain time and time again, has been happening where I don't have the magic Mojo anymore) but it would have been a Full "Deep Winter" Look if we had 10" on the ground and this on top. Super Sparkly, and that once in a 5 year Fluff today so I played with it a lot. Special day. Except for the fact that we had 2 storms of this nature with much more snow just last January. But usually the super fluff rarely happens.
Clinch Leatherwood
In a good year an event like this would have had James and a few of us talking over a page or three. 13 pages for a trace!
TauntonBlizzard2013
In a good year an event like this would have had James and a few of us talking over a page or three. 13 pages for a trace! Well, when this thread was started it did look like this could drop a few inches across the area. I pretty much agree though. A lot of action for a light dusting to about an inch at most. Sign of how this winter is going
