Good idea to have a thread for this methinks - first real chance in a while for some frozen precip tomorrow, especially the farther north you go. Enough to at least whiten the ground Lehigh Valley northward it appears, and hopefully south of there as well (of course :-)). Can't say this thread was started too early, but there could be a bit of "I'll believe it when I see it" sentiment out there. Nice to have a snow threat, even if mainly north of here, and even with the change to rain.

This is probably a non-event for I-95 on south and east, just a bit of non-accumulating sleet/snow before a quick change to rain.  Small chance of a coating there.  NW is a different matter, though the latest NAM even surges the warm air aloft really fast into Chesco, so its probably more sleet than snow if it accumulates.  Up towards Allentown a quick inch or two of snow is not out of the question.

Agreed. I'm not even that optimistic for Allentown. I think the Pocconos might pick up a quick 1-3" of snow. Man this winter has been horrendous for 1-95 south and east, at this point I'm begging for a clipper. I know that some models have a weak clipper modeled for next week but I'm thinking the Appalachians shear the hell out of it before it makes it into our area. Hopefully we can break this pattern by the end of January.
