Robert brought up a good point. With the trajectory of this cold air push, almost n-s instead of normal nw, the bay area and obx could get some lake or I guess open water effect snow. Just a thought, he even bring up the Kerr lake event.

That trajectory also cuts down on downsloping. Perfect for us to get as cold as the Airmass can allow.

Surprisingly, the only place that might have the potential to see some flakes with this upcoming "arctic outbreak" is North Florida along the first coast. There might be some ocean effect snow along the coast like in January 2003.

GFS sees it somewhat.

Ocean effect flurries? 2m temps are in the upper 30s.

TY!  Ya, colder for sure this run for us in GA

Why is it when we seem to finally get the cold temps for snow we can't get a storm out of the gulf.  Seems to hardly ever work out when we get the cold temps in like for next Wednesday and Thursday.  :snowing:
