Bob Chill
Thank God you're still up. Now get in the storm thread with the Euro, forthwith! Ha! I ignored the gfs tonight. Seems solid with the last run before an event. Beyond that it just confuses me. Maybe next year.
WVsnowlover
Any reports on ptype out west? Snow, albeit very light. Concrete patio is becoming quite slick from the freezing fog.
Jebman
its plain frackin' COLD out tonight perfect weather to go find a good place to play craps damn I had so much fun on new years eve! When you got cold but dry and the models arent forthcoming the best thing you can do is play the craps. You have a much better chance of winning at craps, than of getting a HECS in dc

das
Caught up to the showers on my drive into work in DC. 36°F and rain here. It was 30.7°F and big fat fluffy dendrites in Clarksburg when they went through and hour ago up there.

Sparky
Got another quarter inch of snow overnight. Up to 11 inches for the winter, still behind climo-wise though.
Fozz
Days like today are the reason I'm not a fan of sunshine in the winter.
WxUSAF
Probably the most rapid de-snow covering I can remember. Went into a meeting at 845am with cloudy skies and 1"+ of snow on the ground, came out at 1145 with zero snowcover and clear blue skies.

kurtstack
wow even the SREF mean is 0" for DCA. NWS doesn't really have a foot to stand on with their forecast. They must be banking on some dynamics that they feel the models are missing completely with 3-4" in Leesburg, wow, just wow!
wxdude64
Had about an hour of light snow, never accumulated, a 30 minute break and now the light snow is back with sleet falling in last 15 minutes. 35/

EastCoast NPZ
41F for the low. LOL. Forecast up to 47F today will bust badly if we get sun, and we always get sun. A lot of any front end snow we get here is going to be useless, and that is the only snow we're going to see out here. This is another mangled 1 inch event.
