ThePhotoGuy
After some morning flurries, it is now bright a sunny here. I took a drive through the Patuxent River State Park in western Hoco where I saw a pair of Bald Eagles gracefully fly overhead and land in a nearby tree. It appeared to be a female and its fledge. You could here the younger eagle soliciting a mom for a meal. Awesome! It is a good time of the year to see eagles.
Kay
Awesome! It is a good time of the year to see eagles. Just from casual observation, they seem to really like frozen water especially as spots are opening up. They literally hang out and go "ice-fishing". Edit - loved your pics, das. PrinceFrederickWx
Consider yourself lucky. It wasn't supposed to be in the 50s down there? Nope. Forecast was for upper 40's. I took a quick walk to take advantage :-) It dropped back quickly though once the clouds showed up- currently 49 IMBY.
