At least tomorrow's one inch+ rain event wont be that cold. Temps in the 40s...I plan on washing my salt encrusted Jeep while it rains lol. Conserve water. The High Rez NAM has a possibility up in the coal country of Pennsylvania, best N&W of course. Warm air advection is coming at all low and mid levels. dailylurker Posted January 17, 2015 Share Posted January 17, 2015 Looked like a bit of a inversion earlier today. I noticed what looked like a house fire (dark smoke) off to the south of Hurlock. The smoke drifted straight up then went totally flat. Pretty interesting.. Just noticed a light south easterly wind starting to pick up. Here comes warm and wet. Odd look for middle of winter. Looks like deep feed of moisture from the subtropics between the flow ahead of the front to the west and the backside of that high.
