Staged
Cold rain is what we do best. Saw 2 bad accidents on the way to work this morning, so I guess it is slick in spots.

EastCoast NPZ
Possible few pingers pre-dawn, but I'm calling this a rain event. OKV was 28 until the clouds came in and temp rose to 34F at onset of precip. Winter of futility continues.

I-83 BLIZZARD
Up to 33.7 here. Light drizzle with a token mangled sleet pellet. Winter weather advisory fail.
nw baltimore wx
I have tried to calibrate my Ambient ws-11 Christmas present and my temp is 35.1. All the Weatherbugs around here are somewhat colder than that, so I'm wondering how accurate are the Wxbugs?

nw baltimore wx
I see 33-36F, so 35F is probably right. 36/35 here. Thanks. I feel good about the temperature and barometric calibration that I made, and the humidity is reading close to the local airports, so combining the new weather station with my cocorahs rain gauge, I think I'm ready to be labeled "Official Pikesville Weather Obs." 36.1, 88%, 32.7, 30.35f, total of 0.09"

hosj III
38/37 with .29" in the gauge. When I went out at 8 AM there was sleet mixed with rain at 33 with a coating of sleet on the ground. Maybe .1"? Break the Dec drought?
yoda
Hopefully the GFS/Para can come a bit further south with the clipper during happy hour. I don't think it would take much to at least get some legit snow showers in the area. 12z GGEM was okay... 12z UKIE only goes out to 72 on the precip maps and that looked like a nice clipper coming in if we base it off the QPF map at 72 hrs
