34F on the water, with 31F just inland 2m above the snow pack.

Question: I'm considering moving my Davis to the north side of my property. I would do this to get lows that would better represent the area rather than be "tainted" by the water. Where I would move it to has remarkable snowcover retention. My question is: Would it be considered an accurate temperature reading 2m above nice snowcover, when nowhere else on my property has snow?

Also, this area doesn't get full sun throughout the whole day (the current location is in sunlight 8:00 AM-4:30 PM). Without full sun exposure, would that still be considered accurate?

High of 35.5F. A bit lower than I thought it would be.

Currently 34.2F.

High of 35.6F in Clarksburg. Temp now 34.2F and winds have switched around to the north in the last 30 minutes.

Snowpack took a beating today. Water content is juuuuuuust a bit higher now than this time yesterday...
