Good grief!!!

Station Number: NC-WK-122 Station Name: Garner 3.4 SSE Observation Date 1/12/2015 8:00 AM Submitted 1/12/2015 8:01 AM Total Precip Amount 4.50 in.    

 

I believe it, I am at work so I dont know the totals but it has been pouring here for several hrs now I wouldnt be surprised if we have at least 2-3" by the time I leave work at 7pm tonight.

So did the models underestimate QPF here? I honestly didn't look at projected amounts before this event. I wasn't expecting 3" of rain.

 

MHX went with .50-1" for us as well and we are sitting at a little over 2" so far here and I can see us getting another 1" at least based on what I am seeing back downstream in SC etc...
