...LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ON GRASS AND ELEVATED SURFACES THIS
MORNING...

A BAND OF LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH THE AREA THIS MORNING
IS LEAVING A DUSTING OF SNOW ON MAINLY GRASS AND ELEVATED
SURFACES. AS TEMPERATURES APPROACH FREEZING THERE COULD BE A FEW
ICY SPOTS MAINLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES BUT THESE WILL BE VERY
ISOLATED. OVERALL TRAVEL IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE A PROBLEM AS ROAD
TEMPERATURES REMAIN WELL ABOVE FREEZING.

Saw a couple of flakes in Old Fort and a flizzard driving through Black Mountain yesterday. I'm really going to stick to my guns about October/November snows from now on. While I personally didn't get any snow from the Halloween system, every area around me did and whenever an event like that happens here winters tend to suck.

I agree... No Halloween storm and we want al least the first two thirds of November in a warm pattern.
