there were so many people at the ER because of the flu it took me 4 hours to just get seen. It isn't my appendix and not life threatening. Just can't figure out what it is. Yeterday I could barely walk and had to work from my laptop at home. Today is better. Went to the office for a few hours. We will see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully it hurts less and less. Thanks for asking!

I know how you feel. I went through a mystery medical nightmare last year that caused me to go to the ER several times (and I have to be dying to go to the ER), several long stays in the hospital, and a hundred trips to the doctor and no one ever figured out what it was. I'm better now but that's not saying much since death would have been better than what I was going through. Whatever it was, I am still suffering from the after effects of it. Frustrating as hell to be going through something so severe and no one can tell you what it is or why. Hang in there.

I'm sorry you are having problems.  I can relate.  Last spring, I had a stomach virus that never did go away.  Severe cramps that would double me over.  I finally went to a specialist and after a colonoscopy was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.  My immune systems sees my colon as a foreign and continually attacks it.  Luckily, I have it pretty much under control now with medicine.

There are a dozen things that can be causing your issues.  If they persist, go to a digestve specialist.  Good luck!

Thanks! Methinks its not your issue because my white blood cell count was perfectly normal (which ruled out a lot of things). I guess a specialist is the only way to go if it persists.

At least the cold snap allowed us to FINALLY try out our updated snow making setup!  The wind kept hampering our earlier efforts, as it was blowing it all over the place.  It did finally die down towards the end of the day and we were able to concentrate the snow into one area.  Needless to say, our 3-year olds were excited when they came home yesterday afternoon (as was I).

Hang in there everyone.  Hopefully we can pull a "real" one out before all is said and done...

If this winter sucks all the way through March, then we get a big 1993 like storm on March 5th, would you guys classify this as a great winter because of one storm? Or no matter what kind of storm we see in March, it was a horrific winter?

Now is the winter of our discontent

Made glorious summer by this son of York;

And all the clouds that low'r'd upon our house

In the deep bosom of the ocean buried.

Richard The Third Act 1, scene 1, 1–4

If we get a massive 18-inch snowstorm in March, I would be thrilled.  I think I would be quite content with one large snowstorm, if I couldn't get several minor ones.
