All the hype going into this winter got alot of people expecting back to back snowy winter which never happens.. at this point we should be greatful we got an artic front to make it this far south... everyone needs to relax mother nature is going to do what she wants to do and thus year the patterns aren't working out for us.. Agreed. 100+ years of KATL as well as other cities' data clearly suggest CR's idea.Edit: long range on models other than GGEM look pretty bleak for the foreseeable future. I don't think there was a winter back then that we didn't have days off from school because of snow. I remember plenty of spring breaks getting shortened because of it, too. There is plenty of time left. February is still a few weeks off. We didn't get anything last winter until the end of January and still ended up at average for snow. But it would be mind-boggling if we didn't end up with above average snowfall here after all the consensus from the mets with their winter forecasts predicting that, and they had the reasoning to back it up. Now Alma, GA a little north of here will easily do that. Nailed it! 27 was the lowest we got and Alma is sitting at 22. The heat effect of Waycross is real guys!
