JoshM
BC actually has the highest elevation in the county not in the state park. GPS has me at an elevation of 922 feet. It went down as soon as it locked it. Edit: stable at 880 ft using 10 sats. Either it's wrong or I'm in somewhat of a hole

Bessemer City does have a Bojangles, it's been here forever and a subway. They're almost in Gastonia, but we claim them. Only ROs truck I've seen lately is in front of Food Lion in Kings Mtn. superjames1992
I can't even find what High Point's motto is. Maybe we don't have one. Our nicknames are kind of neat, though: "Furniture and Hosiery Capital of the World, The Point, HP, City of the Future, Hype Point" Hype Point! Greensboro nicknames: Tournament Town, Gate City, The Boro EDIT: Well, High Point's official slogan is "North Carolina's International City," actually. Webberweather53
When was the last time more than 2/3 of NC got 8+ inches of snow? I swear these clown maps are trolling us on purpose I've come across @ least 3 events that come closest to or accomplished this feat... The March 1927 is truly unmatched in the historical record east of the Appalachians & I would argue that about ~80-85% of NC picked up 8+ inches of snow, and about half the state observed a foot or more of snow... March 1-3 1927 February 17-19 1979 & of course March 1-2 1980...
