You would think WWwarnings would be in place for that type of threat... but what does the NWS know, i cant trust them... i can however trust, weather i can trust guy. If the text from a winter storm watch says 6-10 inches is possible, then the next day you get "upgraded" to a winter weather advisory for 2-4 inches, how can that be an upgrade? RAH made a point in their briefing today to say just that. I think it kind of confuses the public to start with a Winter Storm Watch and then go to an advisory, but then say it isn't a downgrade.
