The NAM completely sucks. Ever since last week when it kept giving me freezing rain, I learned that it overestimates precipitation(which I already knew) and that the 4k version is even more terrible. He was told on here numerous times that he was a great poster this winter with the way he was posting this winter because he was being optimistic about winter. Im the worst apparently because I am negative. Its not me really being negative when its really just common sense because we had heard the same story over the entire winter and all the good stuff showing up past 240 or at 240. We know when a good pattern is showing up. Not all this, oh its almost there, or the kicker came in too late type post. I understand the meteorology, not modelology thing, but models don't miss out on large scale features and 500mb patterns that often especially when there is a consensus between them.
