mattie g
Everyone is in a good mood here. I can't wait to come on here during a real storm and see what it's like. To be honest, it's a sh**show in here during good storms, but everyone's happy so it's not too bad (unless you're the type that gets your panties in a wad). EastCoast NPZ
Too many pages to comb through but basically if NYC gets their best snowfall ever Ian is gone for a month the rest of winter (no, March is not a winter month here). If not, PG is gone. LOL we need more of these. See you in the spring, PG. lol.
Ian
You said it best -- if we're just forecasting based off Euro snow maps we might as well shut it down.they aren't even really out of the game. That band will do some damage if/when it comes ashore. And to the euros benefit it piled up a lot late in NYC. But a 24-36" forecast should be high confidence. I assume someone looks at the GFS so it wasn't.
Ltrain
Why is PG so quiet? He hasn't lost yet. We are going to need GFS pbp.
megals12
Can we take a brief moment to mention the #BlizzardMobile live on CNN right now? Don Lemon driving on mostly wet roads in NYC and talking about "slush". Hoping NYC gets some good stuff over night, but it's not making for great TV right now. We get more than Philly. This storm has beaten my expectations here by far. Looks so pretty outside too!

ravensrule
GFS even worse up there than previously. We get more than Philly. I already have double what Philly will end up with probably. I feel bad for them, i like the people from Philly but i despise NY'ers.

Looks so pretty outside too! I still hope that NYC reaches a foot of snow, otherwise the forecasters will be eviscerated. But, unless something changes in the next three hours, it looks like the worst bust is Philly---- 12-16" forecast this afternoon.
ravensrule
Lol, TWC just said only another 3-7" in NYC. So even if they get the 7" they would only be at 11.5". That is painful.

Bob Chill
For me, this storm is a reverse bust. Great day. For the folks in Philly/nyc, I know exactly how it feels from plenty of experience. Been there done that and it sucks bad.
CheesyPoofs
Obviously the event isn't over -- but if current trends hold, how about the GFS outperforming the Euro overall on this one?
