Ian
Nice subtle sun angle mention in the first sentence of the pm update from CWG. I love me some sun angle. I can already notice it a little .. mainly in the evening since it's getting lighter again when I leave work.

Kay
I was hoping the promise of a new year would bring about change for some. I know - I should probably make a resolution to be less sarcastic. (As if..who am I kidding?) I definitely notice the later sunset. I'm weird...I am a spring fan as well as winter...but I also really enjoy the shortest, darkest days and early nights.

Kay
Not to be a pollyanna, but I really do find something to love in all four seasons. Summer least bc heat and humidity, and my weird preference for shorter days starts kicking in when they're at their longest. But stuff to like in all...I think I'd go mad in like S. California. MN Transplant
Kept on seeing little frozen beads of water on some of the food containers in our downstairs freezer. Decided to buy a fridge/freezer thermometer to check it out (any excuse to buy a thermometer, really). Sure enough, opened it tonight and it was 48 degrees and everything was starting to thaw. So, happy new fridge year to me. At least we can set the frozen stuff outside tonight.

gymengineer
Who's out and who's stayed in tonight? My SO is snoring away on the couch after our usual round of NYE drinks (we're getting older), so I'll have to do wake-up duty in 5 minutes... eurojosh
In 2015 - may your January BECS be forgotten by the time of your April Tornado; may that be forgotten in time for your 110-degree July derecho; may your Category 5 up the Bay sweep them all away; and may no one get hurt by any of it. Happy new year!
wxdude64
Well, about 10 minutes until a New Year starts, wishing everyone here a prosperous and happy one. Those that enjoy the snow may the pattern break and white envade the MA.

I hung out with my 10 year old son until then. He's a cool kid and we had a fun evening. I almost gave him a beer but figured l should wait another year.
