nw baltimore wx
Snapple cap "Real Fact" #824 On average a man spends about five months of his life shaving. Really?? I've spent that much time playing stickman golf.
Ian
Snapple cap "Real Fact" #824 On average a man spends about five months of his life shaving. Really?? Doubtful these days but 10 min a day for 68 years is about 5 mo.
Ian
Tho I guess you should subtract pre shaving years. Or add on shaving time per day. Verdict: mostly false unless you're an old attractive gay guy
nj2va
I wish I looked good in a beard but it comes in too patchy. Therefore, I'm forced to shave everyday. I have it down to a science where I can shave in the shower without a mirror.

Bob Chill
Time spent shaving def goes down after marriage. Then you just dont GAF and shave once every few days. This. My wife likes the shaggy look and clean cut. Since I'm self employed and don't meet clients face to face I don't have to shave for work. I shave whenever I feel like it. snowfan
That goes both ways. Be careful. True. I should GAF. It's still a PITA. I've never jumped over to an electric, so am still using blades with barbasol.

nj2va
Do any guys use electric here? I hate paying for those damn Mach razors but they're best disposable. I've wanted to go electric but I've heard the shave isn't nearly as good.

I went electric 3+ years ago and haven't looked back they are much better than years ago, though probably not quite a blade but they are quick and most are wet/dry and battery powered that last a long time before recharging pay $50 for one at Walmart and try it out.....he!!, blade prices are out of sight

I hate having sensitive skin.

snowfan
Anyone join the $1 shave club? Seems more reasonable than paying $25 for blade refills and they'll deliver it to the house for you.
Bob Chill
I have a Braun and Norelco. Love it. Braun is as close to blade as you can get and can use in the shower but electrics aren't for everyone. I don't have a thick beard and don't get a 5 o'clock shadow. Haven't used a blade in years. Ian
I'd guess it's a lot more unusual to find a guy who shaves every day now than in the past anyway. We've all become dirty hipsters.
WVclimo
Slept for a total of 90 minutes last night, after a late-night trip to Beckley for morning meetings. Normally I would be staying up tonight waiting for the first flakes, but may crash until 3:00-4:00 a.m.
