jamesnichols89
Sweet only one GFS to worry about for now on. I'm going to miss the old GFS.

Gfs has something in that timeframe as well. Maybe a general period to watch. Clown range though
TalcottWx
Some of the hires and nam are bullish for the ocean effect snowfall this week. Has a great look for coastal rt 3 area. I mean verbatim could be pretty white anywhere in eastern mass. Even some instability on weds/thurs
TauntonBlizzard2013
Congrats interior Maine and NH on the 00z gfs for the Monday system. Crushed in those area. Big Rainer verbatim for a lot of SNE, especially east
powderfreak
Day 5-6 might get interesting? Whites and western Maine Mtns congrats on the GFS. That seems excessively amped, so even weaker and east could give you guys in SNE and eastern NE a snowfall.

powderfreak
Thread the needle but may have some legs Definitely would be a thread the needle event along the front...no real good throw into the cold sector, but still 1.7" QPF in 6-hours is laughable. Its worth watching though, maybe someone in eastern sections can grab a plowable snow...or its just a hiccup run and everyone is partly cloudy. HIPPYVALLEY
Congrats interior Maine and NH on the 00z gfs for the Monday system. Crushed in those area. Big Rainer verbatim for a lot of SNE, especially east We've certainly got a few days to see how this actually plays out on the models but the way things have gone so far a modest snow gain for the deep interior with some mix/rain for the rest of SNE is hard to ignore. I'm used to snow to ip/zr events here because that's how it's gone so far except for last Friday's clipper. Hopefully by Thursday we have a better sense if there are better options in play besides ots or hug the coast. Nice to see storm potential though. It may not be a record winter but I feel like everyone will be happy by March 1st. Also nice to see no major conus warm ups being locked in. Well, The euro has it as well so i don't think you can discount it as a hiccup run, Its an odd evolution but in this winter, who knows.....lol
The 4 Seasons
The para-GFS 00Z run has it over the BM @ 990hpa and then almost due north SE of Maine @ 980hpa. In just 1 more cycle this is the only GFS we'll be able to look at, the GFS is history after 6Z run - grand finale.

I could see you doing really well with a system like the gfs shows tonight. I feel as though you guys have had an okay winter so far, definitely not the case here. The problem with this system is the cold air seems to be rushing in behind it. Kind of seems destined to be another clunker, especially east. You could cash in though. Lots of time left unfortunately. Would be nice too see my first 2" event of the season at some point

SnowGoose69
06Z PARA seeing the redeveloping clipper the 00Z Euro had...this one has a chance if and only if the previous system forms because that acts to creat a temporary 50/50 and pseudo -NAO...thats the best setup I've seen so far this year at 180 hours or so

CT Valley Snowman
If you looked..it's rain to thumping heavy wet snow I did look, the majority of the heavy precipitation is snowbut perhaps a light dusting at the end verbatim but I'm not saying this doesn't have room to improve
Damage In Tolland
It's not going to play out like that..but fun to at least have something to argue about for the first time this winter
