I think we've figured out this winter's personality, eh?

Chances exist though. Cold always here or nearby. This isn't 2011-12 when we knew the game was over already.

Yes, we have figured this season's persona, at least that of the first half. Hopefully come spring we will be able to tell a tale of two seasons.

Ginxy special?

WEDNESDAY... ARCTIC FRONT WILL PUSH S ACROSS SNE DURING THE
AFTERNOON AS MID LEVEL SHORTWAVE SWINGS THROUGH. THERE ARE STRONG
SIGNALS IN PLACE FOR SCT SNOW SHOWERS AND LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW SQUALLS
DEVELOPING ALONG THE FRONT. GOOD MOISTURE IN THE LOW LEVELS COMBINED
WITH LOW LEVEL CONVERGENCE...A SHORTWAVE AND LOW LEVEL INSTABILITY
WITH VERY STEEP LAPSE RATES IN PLACE SUGGEST THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME
HEAVIER SNOW SQUALLS.

The friday clipper is a bit interesting on the para. Looks like it may want to try to throw down a little bit of heavier precip as it exits.

Really reaching at this point

I think we has a similar setup to that in 1993 down in NYC and it dropped like 3-5 inches of snow, arctic boundary dropping down almost from the north with a weak surface low nearby
